Call A Pet Zones: What Each Area Is Used For

Call A Pet's five wild zones and your safe zone explained: what each area is for, the hazards on the run home, and the map layout confirmed so far.

Call A Pet's map splits into two kinds of territory: five wild zones full of guarded egg nests, and your safe zone at home. Every wild zone serves the same purpose — you sneak in, steal an egg, and carry it back before someone takes it off you. The safe zone is where that egg gets placed and hatched, and where your placed pets earn Money even while you're out raiding. Below is the full zone list, the loop that ties every zone together, and exactly how much of the map's layout current coverage actually confirms.

The five wild zones

The official game page names all five by list: "Grab eggs from 5 zones: Forest, Savannah, Desert, Snow and Volcano. Beware of the bosses guarding them. Carry the egg back to your safe zone and hatch it." An independent gameplay review confirms the same five biomes, calling the fourth one "Antarctic" where the game page writes "Snow" — most likely one zone under two names, since both sources agree the total is exactly five. Neither source settles which label is the canonical in-game one.

ZoneWhat it's used forWhat play footage shows
ForestStealing eggs (the shared loop)The starting, front-most zone; egg hunts happen here
SavannahStealing eggs (the shared loop)Nothing zone-specific documented yet
DesertStealing eggs (the shared loop)Countdown egg drops during the beta session
Snow (called "Antarctic" in video coverage)Stealing eggs (the shared loop)Contested egg drops
VolcanoStealing eggs (the shared loop)Nothing zone-specific documented yet

The rows repeat a use because that is what the sources verify: today the zones differ in small observed details, not in different activities. Treat the list as "these five exist" — its order is a feature list, not a travel route.

The loop every wild zone shares

The official pitch is "Sneak into the wild, steal eggs from guarded nests, and hatch your dream pets!" In practice that means each zone hides egg nests with bosses standing guard. Their names and exact behavior aren't documented — the page's only warning is "Beware of the bosses guarding them" — so expect resistance at every nest you raid. The steal itself is walked through step by step in the egg stealing guide.

The dangerous half is the trip home. Beta footage shows carriers losing eggs to rival players mid-run ("Baka makuha ni Abad 'yan" — Abad might take it, then "Nakinuha ni Abad" — Abad took it), getting chased by animals, and being screamed at to hurry ("Bilisan niyo"). Speed is the practical defense: before one race the streamer urged everyone to "Train your speed right now," and pets gain speed passively as you run — he estimated a pet picks up roughly half of its owner's speed benefit, so your own movement matters most. The movement guide covers getting faster.

Your safe zone: hatch and earn

Once you survive the carry, the official instruction is to "Carry the egg back to your safe zone and hatch it" — shown in play as "Place your egg in your base," with the egg hatching at the base. The safe zone is the earning half of the game: "Every pet you place earns money for you, even while you explore." So the loop pays both ways — stolen eggs become pets at your base, and those pets generate Money while you're back in the wild zones stealing the next one. Placement details are in the pet placement guide, and what the Money is worth is in the cash guide.

How the map is laid out — what's confirmed

Two layout facts are grounded. First, Forest is the starting, front-most zone: during a beta livestream, a game master said of a spawned egg "Ilalagay ko 'to sa pinakauna sa forest zone" — he'd place it at the very front, the forest zone. Second, the map runs toward a far end: a player asked "Paano ako makakapunta ng dulo?" ("How do I get to the end?"), and later an egg was announced with "Nasa dulo yung secret" ("The secret is at the very end"), sending the whole server on a long run toward it.

That is where confirmed layout stops. No source documents which zone comes second, third or fourth, or which one forms the far end — and no unlock conditions or entry requirements for any zone are described anywhere in current coverage. Treat all five zones as places you travel to and steal from, in an order the game hasn't settled for outsiders.

Zone-specific notes from the beta session

Most zone-by-zone footage comes from a single beta livestream in which the game master spawned extra eggs — including Legendary, Mythic, Secret and Eternal ones — through an admin panel. Those rare-egg events were admin-controlled, so they don't show what normally spawns in each zone. What they do show is where egg action took place and how hard players contest it:

  • Forest — the default egg-hunt venue: several rushes happened at its front, and one whole batch was announced as "lahat yan nandito sa forest" (all of these are here in the forest) as everyone piled in.
  • Desert — hosted a countdown drop ("I will spawn mythic in desert. 10, 9…") that sent players racing before it hit zero, and the streamer picked the desert as a spot he expected players to reach ("Desert na lang para kaya nila").
  • Snow / Antarctic — saw contested drops too: with an egg still unclaimed, the streamer threatened "Lalagay ko sa Antarctic to" (I'll place this in the Antarctic) while players chased, re-stole and hatched it.
  • Savannah and Volcano — confirmed only as members of the official five-zone egg list. No zone-specific activity is documented for either; that's a limit of current coverage, not evidence the zones contain nothing extra.

For the areas with dedicated pages, see the Desert guide, the Snow guide and the Volcano guide.

Where the loop leads

Zones feed your base: every egg you carry out of Forest, Savannah, Desert, Snow or Volcano becomes a hatched pet in the safe zone, and every placed pet earns Money for the next run. How hatching works once the egg is home is covered in the egg hatching guide.
