Call A Pet Pets: Named Pets, Rarity Tiers and the Pet Index

The pets Call A Pet actually names — Cerberus, Anubis and Yeti — plus Golden and Rainbow variants, the six fields that distinguish pets, and how the per-zone Pet Index pays out.

Call A Pet names exactly three pets by name: the legendary Secret pets Cerberus, Anubis and Yeti, which the game invites you to hunt. Beyond those three, everything official about the roster is structural: pets hatch as Golden or Rainbow variants with "huge income bonuses", they belong to zones, and each zone has its own Pet Index that pays a permanent income boost once you discover every pet in it.

That is the whole confirmed picture. The game was still in beta when the material this page is built on was captured, and the ordinary pets that fill out each zone's index have not been named anywhere yet — so you won't find an invented "complete pet list" here. What you will find is every confirmed pet and the six fields the game uses to describe pets, which is exactly what you need to read any pet you catch and plan your Index grind.

The pets Call A Pet names

The game's official page puts all three names in one line: "Hatch Golden and Rainbow pets with huge income bonuses, and hunt the legendary Secret pets: Cerberus, Anubis and Yeti!"

PetCategoryConfirmed role
CerberusSecretA "legendary Secret pet" you hunt
AnubisSecretA "legendary Secret pet" you hunt
YetiSecretA "legendary Secret pet" you hunt

That is the complete named roster so far, and it is short because the game itself names nothing else yet. It also attaches no zone, income value or stat line to any of the three individually — so this page leaves those details out rather than filling them with guesses. Expect the roster to grow as the game moves past beta.

The six fields that distinguish pets

Every pet you catch or hatch can be read against six fields. These are the ones that stay consistent across the game's own labeling:

FieldWhat it tells youWhat's confirmed
Rarity tierHow rare a pet isSecret (official); Legendary, Mythic and Common labels seen on pets and eggs in beta play
VariantThe special hatched formGolden and Rainbow
ZoneWhich zone's Pet Index the pet counts towardEvery pet belongs to a zone's index; the per-zone lists are not documented yet
Income effectHow the pet pays outGolden and Rainbow carry "huge income bonuses"; a completed zone index pays a permanent income boost
Speed and trainabilityWhether a pet gets faster, and howPets train on treadmills to boost speed; pets also gain speed partly on their own
RideabilityWhether you can ride itA general pet capability: call your pet and ride it across the map

Golden and Rainbow variants. These are the forms a hatched pet can come in, advertised under "Rare Finds" with "huge income bonuses". The game gives no exact percentage for either variant, so the honest entry in the income column is qualitative: Golden and Rainbow pay more, by an unpublished amount.

Speed and riding. The official pitch: "Call your pet and ride it across the map. Run faster, jump higher, and train on treadmills to boost your speed." Riding is presented as something pets do as a class, not a perk of specific ones. On speed growth, one beta session adds a wrinkle: players were told to train their pets' speed, and pets visibly gained speed on their own too — described as partly passive, but faster when the player character trains. That is a single beta observation, not a fixed rate.

Rare and Secret categories

Officially, the top of the ladder is Secret — the tier shared by Cerberus, Anubis and Yeti — while Golden and Rainbow are the advertised rare finds among hatched pets. In live beta play, three more tier labels surfaced on real pets and eggs: Legendary, Mythic and Common.

One caution before you chase tiers: the special spawns observed during beta — legendary pets dropped at the front of the forest zone, a mythic placed in the desert, a secret at the far end of the map — were run by admins with a spawn panel. They confirm which tier labels exist, not how often each tier appears in normal play or which eggs produce one.

Pets by zone

The roster is organized by zone. The official line: "Discover every pet in a zone to unlock a permanent income boost." Two things follow. First, each zone holds a defined set of discoverable pets. Second, completing a zone's index — not owning one rare pet — is what converts into the permanent income boost, so a "full" zone is the real payout target.

The zones seen in beta play were forest, desert and Antarctic. Which specific pets belong to which zone's index is not documented yet, so no per-zone pet list can be built from confirmed names. For how the zones themselves work, see the Call A Pet zones guide.

Using this list with the Pet Index

When a new pet lands in your collection, read it against the six fields above: its tier label, whether it hatched Golden or Rainbow, which zone's index it counts toward, and what it adds to your income. Then check that zone's index in game to see what is still missing. The Call A Pet pet index guide breaks that system down in detail.

From there, the egg hatching guide covers how hatching works — the route Golden and Rainbow variants arrive through — and the beginner guide fits pets into the first-hours plan.
